II. MACHINES, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & SYSTEM CONTROLS
With the experiences of the top management team from real estate company, Homeplace
Development Co., Ltd (www.homeplace.co.th) and foundry company manufacturing high-precision steel
products (www.pmc-th.com), the top management team value the importance of the technologies both the
software and the hardware and how they can affect the quality of the construction products in the aspects
of quality, time, and cost. New technologies, along with revised working processes, are adopted to support
the problems encountered and possible upcoming ones, including the problems from designs and
drawings, labor shortage, safety, quality problems, unclear working processes, possible problems that can
be found after the usage of the building.
In 1995, the company adopted precast concrete technology from Germany and adapted the
manufacturing process to be flexible to varieties of buildings and diminish the mass production
requirements. Then in 2015, the company invested further on structural steels technology and adapted
design software usage to support the new technology. Design software usage is adapted to every process
from design (drawings) to manufacturing at factory and to construction team, along with construction
management system (ERP) and quality control system to ensure the same production standard.
D-Innova believes that right drawings for construction also are as important as the actual
processes. Engineering Production Drawing team combines related drawings including architect drawings,
structural drawings, M&E drawing, and interior drawings, for every project to minimize complications during
construction period as much as possible. The 3D drawings, the prefabricated products both concrete and
steel, and the assembly drawings are created by design software and linked to manufacturing software.
This allows the team to control during the manufacturing process and to trace in case of errors.
